You do realize that he is a home schooled kid whose parents were missionaries? That is how he was raised. Nice to see some kid who did not have to "overcome a troubled past" win it for a change.
First of all, Tebow was my pre-season pick to win it and his parents did a great job raising him and no I didn't know his parents history and that can only be a positive in a kids young life instead, of growing up in any of the negativity most kids grow up today.
TEBOW this year, CHRIS WELLS next year :osu:

Tim Tebow is friggin unreal. A NC his freshman year, a Heisman his sophomore year, what's next? Congrats Tebow
Oh, he will probably just develop his basic QB skills, so then June Jones can stop calling him a system QB.

Here is the funny thing on Tebow: Even if he doesn't pan out as a QB in the NFL, he could still play a lot of positions on the football field.

Guess I am the only one who was pissed about this, and thought Mcfadden was robbed.

I wasn't pissed, but I felt sorry for DMac, as it had to suck coming second twice.....the top ten draft selection $$$ will make the boo boo feel better though.

dont let it happen

As I have said before, Beanie needs to stay in school through his senior year. It is absolutely vital for our national championship 3 peat, and so he can be the second Buckeye to win back to back Heismans. Otherwise Mr Tebow is gonna pick up at least one more and we dont want the "only two times Heisman trophy winner" to be given to anybody but a Buckeye, or better yet two Buckeyes. :oh:

NEW YORK -- Tim Tebow needed only two years of college to graduate to Heisman Trophy winner, putting the sophomore in a class by himself.
Florida's folk-hero quarterback with the rugged running style and magnetic personality won the Heisman last night to become the first sophomore or freshman to take college football's most prestigious award.
Since 1935, when Jay Berwanger of the University of Chicago won the first Heisman, every winner had been a junior or senior -- until Tebow, who picked up quite a souvenir on his first trip to New York.

If running for 4-1 yard touchdowns per game will win you a heisman, then I nominate Krenzel.

Tebow did this against no competition. The tough teams they played, they lost to.

Thereby proving BKS's parallel Universe theory over on the religion thread. :slappy:
