BigBallin said it right.... too little data to say either way. The kid's got talent... By all accounts he should succeed... but.. he wouldn't be the first "can't miss" to miss.

Fuck, I agree. :(Jeffcat;855744; said:how? first things first it was western carolina not western kentucky. i don't mean to be an ass about it, its just that you can not really say you are seeing anything "promising" by being the national DIA champions and beating on a DIAA team that is TERRIBLE. they only had 2 wins in DIAA and finished 2-9. it is not unfathomable to believe that given florida's talent any QB could of walked into that position and done the same thing against such an opponent.

The media seems to think he's improved under Turner, but what do they know.Jeffcat;855958; said:alex smith is a joke.
You also called this one:i called him as a bust before he even graduated from utah.

Alex Smith improved quite a bit last season. I'd say two years is a little early to call someone a bust...well, unless the Browns drafted him.Jeffcat;855958; said:alex smith is a joke. i called him as a bust before he even graduated from utah. meyer may try to run that same system at florida but i don't see it working out for him in the next couple years. he better pray tebow is god if he does.

From wire reports
Florida quarterback Tim Tebow suffered a fractured bone in his non-throwing right hand Saturday during a 45-12 victory over Florida State.
Florida sports information director Steve McClain described the injury as a non-displaced fracture yesterday and said the injury will require a cast for at least two weeks, meaning Tebow could be accepting a Heisman Trophy with one hand. McClain said Tebow should be healthy by bowl season. The Gators (9-3) likely will play in either the Capital One Bowl in Orlando or the Outback Bowl in Tampa. Both bowls are on New Year's Day.
Tebow accounted for five touchdowns Saturday (three passing, two rushing).
