I just think people get tired of having religion shoved in their faces. I feel like if God is real that he has more important things to worry about than ol' Timmy beating the Steelers.

Few things in life are more important than beating the Steelers.

Well Phil Simms said it best...every response to him is going to be over-the-top. Last week his fans were annointing him as the present and future, after this game the haters will come out after being silenced last week. It's somewhere in the middle, but there will never be a middle with Tebow, obviously.

I still say I don't get the personal venom thrown at someone who hasn't done anything negative to anyone, though. Now the media coverage, that's a different story entirely.

I just want to hear him say "aww fuck" one time. Just one time and I'll get off his ass.

I simply cannot trust nor relate to people who don't swear, drink or fornicate.

Think you hit the nail right on the head. I likely wouldn't be as near as anti-Tebow as I am if it weren't for the constant, in-your-face "Tebow this, Tebow that".

Well, I could be wrong, but I'm going to guess that the rest of the season is going to contain a significant reduction in Tebow fanboyism.

I think you are severely underestimating ESPN's ability and willingness to suck all enjoyment out of sporting events for the sake of cheap ratings. Tebow is controversial, the will most certainly continue to talk about him to get reactions out of fan boys and haters alike.
