Are you seriously saying that Tebow does not encourage and bask in the media spotlight? That he doesn't have film crews tag along to the orphanage, the Sunday school class or wherever his latest "humble" good deed is being done?

The guy is a media whore, always has been and always will be.

I dont see that way, I dont think Tebow is a media whore at all. He's just irrestiable to the media and he cant really tell them to go away.

And even if he is, he uses it as an opporutunity to spread his message of Jesus Christ.

I think thats why Tebow always talks about thanking Jesus and praying all the time. He truly believes that everything he does he have to thank God.

I am certainly no tebow fanboy but I also dont think I have the vitriol toward him that many do. On your point I would simply say he certainly does not seem to shy from the attention. I dont understand how someone as devout as Tebow claims to be could possibly be ok with people refering to praying as tebowing.

If Tebow had an ounce of humility or perspective, he would have refused The Draddy award given to him solely because he was Tebow not because he earbed it by excelling as a student. Hell, I have little doubt that he's the sole home ec major to ever win the award, but screw all of the deserving fiotball players that year who actually challenged themselves in college. To the holy one it just provided another platform with which to cram his narrow worldview down America's cramhole. Fuck Tebow.

Yes, I truly wish that I was a simple minded fool who had been brainwashed by his whack job parents since the age of three, isolated and sheltered from any independent and/or contrary thoughts and beliefs--all to the point that I ended up a deeply, deeply repressed 24 year old virgin who's too stupid to know that he's probably gay.

But hey, he can throw a football......oh wait, no he can't.

Ord's hatred for the guy may be a bit over the top but he's right.

Tebow has never and likely will never do anything to deflect all the media attention. Anyone who thinks this is all Tim being the victim of the media is being naive imo.

Countless guys of faith in pro sports, Tebow is the only one who has the audacity to apply his "brand" to the act of praying.

I don't think he's a victim at all. I think he doesn't really care about it at all.

I think us having this conversation just shows us how useless the sports media truly is....
