Didnt Tebow say he was waiting for marriage and a wife?

Well NFLnetwork certainly thinks so http://www.nfl.com/photos/09000d5d825e125d?module=HP11_hot_topics#id:09000d5d825e250d

So what is it about Tebow, his playing style or his personal religious practice that some people find so upsetting? Why is it that a player who, in another age, would have been hailed as a clean-scrubbed role model now faces skepticism, even derision?

Today professional athletes are far more likely to make news for carrying guns, slapping girlfriends or using drugs than they are for thanking God or praying on the sidelines. Yet they are quietly endured or forgiven, while Tebow is parodied and mocked.

Krista Ramsey is just about the only columnist with the Cincinnati Enquirer worth reading. On Sunday I was cheering for the Steelers and Ben Rothlisburger (sp) only because I didn't want to see Tim Tebow win. I read this column and I asked myself which is more offensive to my sensibilities: Tim doing the prayer thing, or all the end zone, fumble recovery, ball spiking, Wide World of Wrestling posturing that seems to follow every play in an NFL game? The answer, right now, is both, but after reading this article I'm beginning to think it's the later. Whatever happened to the sense of sportsmanship? Is it ONLY about winning?

Neither. I don't give a shit about him praying to his sky daddy on the sideline, a lot of NFL players are religious and do the same thing at various points on game days. We just haven't had to hear about how awesome they are, how spending 5 minutes with them will make us better people, and how we should all want our kids to be like them since these people were in high school. We also don't have to see footage of them circumcising Filipinos during games.

Whether that's his fault or not doesn't really matter. People tend to hate media darlings. His religious bullshit just fuels the media obsession.

So does he reveal himself as the antichrist before or after he wins the Super Bowl?

The greatest trick the devil ever played was convincing the world that he doesn't exist. ESPN has made sure Tebow is NOT the antichrist.

Ahhh, but he could be the False Prophet.
