The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

What were the hunters referring to when they were saying it was fitting that Bob is the one they ended up catching first? Was he leaving bread crumbs for them or something?

i thought it was more or less referencing when bob tried to talk gareth out of the "crack in slash" at the beginning of the last episode.

I believe he's referring to Bob's group being the ones who destroyed Terminus and forced them to go back out and live in the woods and hunt for food. He said it was "cosmic justice that it be you." I think he's just saying since it was their fault they were out there, it's only fair one of them get eaten first. That's how I saw it.
Which leads me to believe that they weren't using the tracking on the trees to find the group. Someone said that the markings may be from Terminus people, so to go off my theory of the Terminus people previously being perish people of that church, maybe to help them find their way back they left those markings.

I'm wondering if Bob wasn't originally a member of Terminus and he walked around to recruit people to Terminus. That's why he was alone before and said he was the only remaining survivor of two groups. That's why he drank all the time. That's why he was last in the line at the trough to have his throat cut. That's why he was begging Gareth for the lives the people there. And that's why it was "cosmic justice" that he was caught first.

These thoughts came to mind after Gareth called him, "Bob." Like, how did he know his name? There's a history there.

And, yes, I think Bob is infected. Him getting bit couldn't be a red herring. It follows the Dale story arc from the comics, I think.

I don't think the preacher is pretending to be anything he isn't... which is a scared little pussy who will do anything to save himself except overtly kill a walker or another human being.

Maybe he (Gabriel) was a member of Terminus as well, but he couldn't bring himself to NOM NOM NOM on people like Gareth and the others? He's an odd one to figure out here - but it's obvious that he's done something funky.

Also - did I see the guy that Tyrese allegedly 'killed' sitting around the buffet too?

That's a really solid theory about Bob. If it doesn't turn out to be the storyline, it should be.

The only other twist I can think of would be if Bob was with the group the originally took over Terminus, and since he isn't evil, turned against them when the residents revolted.

(Still not personally sure how much of my life I want to devote to seeing conscious people devoured by inches. That was a really creepy scene. I may have to settle for reading recaps here.)

Yep. TTD confirmed Ty's "victim" survived. Although, the actor insisted that his character really thought he'd killed him. I didn't buy it.
