The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

The real question is: What was the last word Denise was going to say to complete the sentence.

I'm thinking "Demons".

Since Eugene bit Dwight's penis, I can already imagine the banter from Negan in future episodes.

I'm wondering if Denise took Abraham's spot from the graphic novel, since Dwight killed Abraham with a crossbow in the graphic novel.

Question
Did anyone notice or could anyone tell if Dwight has his left ear? I realize his face got burned with the iron, but I couldn't tell if he still had an ear due to his hair?

Denise did take Abraham's place according to what I just read
. But Abraham's still" on the clock. "
Will he be Negan's "big kill" to end the season?
That's possible. The writer's got off "script".
There are plenty of second level characters that could get killed off, yet.

Carol.
She has been living a "split personality" life for some time.
Maybe she's psychotic and the two personalities are in a fight for her mind?
Can you be a swee,t older gal all the time in such a violent, no rules world?
Can you keep some sort of sanity for very long?
This is one of the better characters and one of the better storylines in the series.

Negan is going to take down a primary character I wager. Given how this is playing out, I'll bet on Carol.

Carol's story arc was compelling and then the writers castrated it. Battered Woman turns into Badass Woman. This is the same person who unapologetically killed Tyrese's girl at the prison and the psycho blond kid staring at the flowers. I'm not buying her crisis of conscience.

I don't understand why people refuse to allow characters to morph over time.
 I think it's the exact opposite...I have enjoyed watching Carol morph over 5 seasons, it's the complete reversal in one episode that's the problem. There has been zero indication, that I can recall, of her having a crisis of conscience before now. Introducing one is fine, and something they could run with for a while...but to just have her suddenly bail on the group out of nowhere because she had to kill someone who took her hostage? I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous in my IMO

Well now you're just assuming that's why. I don't think it was a light switch that flipped.

of course, you are ignoring the fact that he's had a running list of people that she's killed, which shows that it's been weighing on her for quite some time. her baking the cookies, putting one on shithead kid's grave and playing house was all part of her transition. she even said when she shot the dude in the shoulder that she could have killed him then, but didn't. this has been slowly coming for a while if you paid attention to it.

I don't think I mind it, if that's how it goes. The POV aspect is new and different and I'm ok with the cliffhanger. Of course, I was good with The Sopranos ending, too, so...

It's the show milking it for all it's worth if that's the direction it goes. however, the secret won't last that long once they start filming season 7 and some of the characters who could possibly get smashed are seen filming different scenes. Just like there were tons of photos of Glen on set that showed up everywhere even after he was eaten.
