The Walking Dead (Official Thread)

The thought process is that Darryl is wishing he had just killed those douchebags in the forest.....and now he's doing anything he can to right that wrong. Stupid....but that seems like what they're going for.

I mean, I definitely get that and could see him wanting to kill them as soon as possible...but the execution was awful and mind-numbingly stupid. Find another one of his seemingly endless supply of rocket launchers out there if he is going to ride solo. Simple math that crossbow versus 3+ machine guns is not going to work out.

I agree. The whole thing felt very forced.

I'm annoyed that they keep dropping their guard when out in the "wild" and having in depth personal conversations. First the doctor chick at the railroad. Then Glenn and Michonne in the woods.

Hey guys, there is a group out to get you, plus a ton of zombies that tend to sneak up on you. Lets get it together.

About the leaked audio.

(I cannot believe I was analyzing screams and background noise like the F'ng Zapruder Film)

After listening to the 11-minute leaked audio of Negan's introduction, I'm debating whether it would be better to edit the graphic novel dialogue (with the many curse words) or to bleep it.

Since the show has never bleeped before, I didn't think that would be proper.

The intro seemed something like a speech from The Joker in "The Dark Knight".

And I guess if you listen closely, you can hear someone say "Mmm...Maggie" while getting beaten (so it's the ex-pizza delivery man)

I still think it would've been the perfect time for some AMC synergy and introduce Strand from "FTWD" -- future Strand -- into Virginia. See if he can sell Negan on something.

I agree. They're making it increasingly difficult to pull for them. The attack on the Saviors' outpost almost made up for the Benny Hill clownshow episode, but then they stepped right back into stupidity with the "everyone running off in sequence with no good reason why"episode.

it also sounds like the intro music starts at the very end, which would imply the first person potential cliffhanger is the beginning of the episode, which would be the most intensely wonderful beginning of all time. then the rest of the episode is how they got to that point and who gets the bat.

Well just a few hours away...I am sticking with my prediction of Darryl...I think they'll false finish deaths of Glen and Carol, and Maggie (and baby) will likely end uncertain. I think Abraham makes it to season 7, where they'll knock him off early. And it appears that Aaron? Is that his name? Has a bigger role today, so he is also likely to either die, or watch his partner die...or both.

Jeez, I was getting ready for a sniper shot every time someone had their back to a window or they showed someone driving from a side view (i.e. Abraham).

Good Luck to the entire "TWD" production staff avoiding spoilers. Stupid show had me on edge for 90 minutes. I might watch "Frozen" or "Toy Story" or something.

Obviously, Rick and Co. have never watched "Pee Wee's Big Adventure".

Life Lesson
If you're ever surrounded by a biker gang -- Satan's Helpers or The Saviors -- just start playing "Tequila".

Fuck this show. A great episode overall completely ruined by the ending. I am not sure I have anything else left to say except yeah, the ending felt like Toy Story 3 but with no resolution. Just incredibly disappointing.

So all that for a Who Shot JR moment? I knew it was coming, but fuck these assholes. They're just trolling their audience to be cute.

BTW...the fact he didn't go down after the first shot makes me think it is definitely Darryl...though the spoilers will come out as soon as they start filming again.
