The Polls (AP, Coaches, & CFP, etc.)

Playoff Committee got their dream scenario. If Clemson beats ND close in ACC championship they have easy decision in Bama, Clemson, Ohio State, and Norte Dame

I think this is what they want. My only issue is that would probably bump an unbeaten tOSU to #2 and we'd have to play #3 Clemson again. I would love to find a way to play ND just because it's fun to snap Domers back to reality.

Yeah, I'm saying Notre Dame and Ohio State are the 2 biggest college football draws which will boost TV ratings. In addition, the all the CFP Committee voting ballots already have Alabama (#1) and Clemson (#2) printed on them.

I'd laugh my ass off if ND beat Clemson again and Oregon is sitting there as undefeated PAC-12 champs.

Love to hear them explain why a 1, or 2, loss non champ team was put in over Oregon.

I actually think that if it would be Bama, OSU, Clemson, and ND, the matchups would be Bama/Clemson and OSU/ND for the semis. That makes sure there's not yet another repeat of Bama/Clemson for the championship, and guarantees you compelling storyline/historical matchups for the championship. This is a year where they can pretty much say whatever they want to justify the rankings without as much serious blowback and second guessing.

CBS Sports didn't get the memo yet.....

College football bowl projections: Why Clemson, not Notre Dame, is still in the playoff field

Since I am also predicting there will be three undefeated teams from Power Five conferences eligible for the playoff, that means Notre Dame still projects on the outside of the four-team field.

Jan. 1, Rose Bowl: (2) Ohio State vs. (3) Clemson

Jan. 1, Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Oregon
