Sorry I know noone really cares about Tejas but leaving here and listening to the insanity spouted about this school is hysterical to me so today here some of these gems this morning:

"If we had RGIII we'd be 11-1 or 12-0 and challenging Oklahoma for the BIG XII-IIII title"
"There is a QB at Oregon State thats going to pull a Russel Wilson, Tejas should be all over him, he played under Mike Riley and he was an NFL coach" (paraphrased)

that was within 2 minutes of turning on the radio, i changed the station because i about wrecked my car from laughing.

Wow I didn't realize Tejas had become that desperate do you have to be to try to get a QB that was BENCHED in the first game at OREGON STATE (3-9), to stoop to Wisconsin levels, however atleast Wisky had an outside shot at a NC, [Mark May] even Mark [censored]ing May said during the A&M game... "Your Texas you shouldn't have to resort to trick plays to score" .... I knew Tejas was down.. i just didn't realize they drove of a cliff and ended up at the bottom of the gulf....

Someone needs to explain to me how Mack Brown still has a job. 5-7 last year, 7-4 right now and could be 7-6 after their bowl game. Even presuming they win their next two and finish 9-4, that cannot be acceptable with their recruiting.

$$$$ BoT & AD could give to [Mark May]s about the product on the field... as long as the green is rolling in which. Mack could probably raise more money than Obama if he was running for office, it is. Just goes to show you perhaps their problems were deeper than Greg Davis, McWharter, Tolleson, [Mark May] i'm surprised, they aren't blaming this on Muschamp, after all everything was his fault last year

and don't tell Tejas fans they will be 7-6... they are convinced they'll be 9-4... and win the NC next year

My co-workers from Texa$ have already declared Texa$ as the 2012-2013 BCS National Champs. I am going to Vega$ because they told me to "bank on it."

You can't make up the goldmine that is the Tejas talking heads....

yesterday they were reading some player tweets about Case McCoy, they tried to "build it up" by not saying Case's name or that the tweets came from tejas players but its was fairly obvious.. anyways readers digest version.. quotes sounded alot like what players said about Tim Tebow... so ergo Case McCoy = Tejas Timmy
:slappy::slappy::slappy::slappy::slappy:

all because they beat aggie with some help with the refs and an imploding aggie team... WOW

This oughta have the horns fans up in arms:

So, he now has nine years left on his contract. WTF? :lol:

Until the horns fan wise up and stop donating or going to the games it doesn't matter... Mac is a cash cow with the alumni. Also long has he can toss his assistants under the bus for poor play and player development, he'll serve that entire time out.

I could understand giving him an extension like that two years ago after a couple of really good years, but he's gone 13-12 (6-11 in conf) the past two years and is gonna be 61. He still reruits with the best of 'em (of course, recruiting like that at the flagship program in a state with that much talent isn't all that difficult), but he's shown over his time there that he can't really compete unless he has a special QB.

I agree completely... but he's a freakin politician, I'm rethinking something i said in my previous post... I'd almost guarantee you he doesn't coach out the entire contract...

as far as recruiting goes... I don't think he's "that" good at recruiting and their talent evaluation has sucked ass the past few years and his "take it or leave it" and "we aren't going to recruit anyone behind you" offers at junior days have haunted him the past few years.

well Tejas Jr Day netted them a grand total of 0 verbals.... Mack's prolly shitting the bed right now... will be interesting to see how they do... on another more interesting note, talking heads who run OrangeBloods made an interesting statement about tejas recruiting. "they changed there philosophy from offering recruits after just looking at the highlight tapes to going in and evaluating them over all their games" I was kinda stunned that they could be that lazy... but then again... looks like that's what has happened.
