Mack could probably raise more money than Obama if he was running for office, it is. Just goes to show you perhaps their problems were deeper than Greg Davis, McWharter, Tolleson, [Mark May] i'm surprised, they aren't blaming this on Muschamp, after all everything was his fault last year
and don't tell Tejas fans they will be 7-6... they are convinced they'll be 9-4... and win the NC next year
The University of Texas has extended head football coach Mack Brown?s contract four more years, according to Kirk Bohls of the Austin American-Statesman. His contract will pay him $5.2 million per season, according to Bohls.

So, he now has nine years left on his contract. WTF?
I could understand giving him an extension like that two years ago after a couple of really good years, but he's gone 13-12 (6-11 in conf) the past two years and is gonna be 61. He still reruits with the best of 'em (of course, recruiting like that at the flagship program in a state with that much talent isn't all that difficult), but he's shown over his time there that he can't really compete unless he has a special QB.AuTX Buckeye;2095505; said:Until the horns fan wise up and stop donating or going to the games it doesn't matter... Mac is a cash cow with the alumni. Also long has he can toss his assistants under the bus for poor play and player development, he'll serve that entire time out.
