Texas Tech's Sept. 8 road game against Texas State may be broadcast on the Longhorn Network, an athletic department source with direct knowledge of the situation told RRS.com's Chris Level and Aaron Dickens on Thursday.

I don't know if it's possible, but I do hope Texas Tech cancels the game, if televised by the Longhorn Network.

Got home. Brought up the guide, and there was The Longhorn Network. Channel 1609 on AT&T Uverse. I'm pretty sure it wasn't there yesterday.

I saw it for the first time today also on U-Verse. It's not included in my group of channels, though, which is OK with me.

I have U450, so I assume that it's part of the sports package that includes CBS Sports, MLB, NBA, etc..

Tejas doesnt care... They get paid regardless. Its espn who is footing the bill for everything and paying texas a guaranteed $20 mil a year or so.... As someone on shaggy pointed out.. The AD wont fire anyone until they stop raking in the cash.. Ie half empty stadium.
