Everyone should read the end of that article to see what a great young man Tajh is. (Oh No, I starting to sound like my grandfather)

I hope he picks tOSU, but if it is some other program, I hope he does well.

WOW! The last part of the article just makes Tajh my favorite recruit right now! It speaks volumes for his super upbringing.....his parents seem to be terrific people and have brought him up the way every parent should raise their kids.

Rivals.com Football Recruiting - Army recruiting notes: Who's in it for Campbell? (free)

Minneapolis (Minn.) Breck wide receiver Bryce McNeal has narrowed down his list to Oregon along with Clemson, Minnesota and Colorado and the Ducks are in the top two according to sources. McNeal has raved about Oregon since he took his official visit in November and has been apparently recruiting Hampton (Va.) Phoebus quarterback Tajh Boyd to go with him if he chooses the Ducks.

Speaking of Boyd, he also loved his recent official visit to Oregon and is expected to decide between the Ducks and Ohio State this weekend.

ESPN - Midwest Recruiting Blog

It is not a sure thing, but quarterback Tajh Boyd (Hampton, Va./Phoebus) might announce his college choice this weekend. Boyd first committed to West Virginia, and then changed to Tennessee. However when Lane Kiffin replaced Phil Fulmer, Kiffin let Boyd know he probably did not fit Kiffin's pro-style offense.

Boyd definitely fits Jim Tressel's offense and could be the heir apparent to Terrelle Pryor at Ohio State. Boyd made December official visits to Ohio State and Oregon. He might announce his college choice this weekend. If not, he will make an official visit to Boston College, likely the weekend of Jan. 10, then announce his college choice soon after that visit.

Click HERE for a video of Boyd being interviewed at the EAS Elite 11 camp. When asked,"Do you have a role model in life?" he replies "As far as football goes, Troy Smith." He also mentioned that the school he picks will depend on how much he and his mom like the coach.

BG$--Boyd interested in Bucks

Tajh says he hopes to set up a visit in January, is a fan of tOSU, and loved watching Troy Smith.

Lots of chatter about Boyd to Oregon on Saturday. Our guys are still confident, but when it comes to the Army game, our track record with so-called "silent verbals" isn't all that great.

However, it seems odd that a kid who is so close to his family would pick a school that his parents didn't visit with him...
