Boyd’s professional career never really panned out as he did not make the Jets roster as a rookie and was not signed by another team. He played in the Fall Experimental Football League and then signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2015 but did not make their final roster either.

In September of that year, he also signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the CFL before being released in October. He signed with Montreal in November and was then released in June of 2016.

Just sayin': He didn't last too long in professional football, looks like he's now going to work his way up the ladder into coaching, etc.....:nod:

From what I recall, it came down to a 3 horse race between tOSU/Oregon/Clemson. In the weeks leading up to his commitment, "insiders" from all 3 schools seemed sure that they were going to land his services. Like, right up until his announcement. Obviously, he picked Clemson. The word is that they basically told the coaching staffs from each school that Tajh would be choosing them. Then he goes on TV and picks Clemson, leaving tOSU & Oregon wondering "WTF just happened?" Amateur hour bullshit.
