SimPLLLLLLLe Jim "6-13" Harbaugh (B1G Suspenders McKhakiPants, Cheater Cheater Booger Eater)

I'm not a fan of the rivalry, I'm a fan of Ohio State.

I don't want Harbaugh to do well. I don't want "awesome battles" with Michigan, I want to beat them. I want Dick Rod or cHoke or some other idiot running that team up north. I hope that Harbaugh's stay in Ann Arbor is as short as possible.
Understood, and to each their own. It's simply sharing of opinions.

I don't WANT Harbaugh to do well, I want OSU to do well. But my personal opinion is, OSU does not get better by beating up on a shitty Michigan team every year. OSU gets better by beating the fuck out of a good Michigan team every year. I've thoroghly enjoyed whooping these guys the past 12 years, I really have, and I believe that will continue.

But, and again this is simply my personal opinion, when I hear OSU fans pissing and moaning that Harbaugh is headed to Michigan, and I've heard that a lot as of late, that tells me those fans are scared. It's like all of a sudden, we're concerned. The games will be awesome, Harbaugh is a good coach whether fans like it or not. I want OSU to play and beat the best. We have our first real shot on January 1st against 'Bama.

I understand both sides.

Do you think Ohio State would be better if we told Weber he should recommit to Michigan? If we told Webb he should transfer?
Michigan can only find success by taking players that would've been contributors at Ohio State.

Not Michigan related, but I shudder to think what would've happened last year if Jeremy Cash hadn't transferred. Sometimes one player can be the key.

So I see some of us want to go back to seeing top Ohio kids wearing maize and blue, doing Heisman poses and walking around with roses in their mouths. Because that's how M*ch*g*n gets good again. They must steal from us. Some of you are too young, or are just plain being naive. Why do you think we hate those fuckers in the first place? Because they are leaches. They produce nothing. They are villains and they are evil. Tress buried them and now we want them resurected? To lure our talent north? WTF?

Yep I also don't understand it. I mean FSU and now even we have proven that if you go undefeated, and in the right year even with a loss, you can go to the playoff from a crap conference. UM doesn't need to be good. It's as if some people would rather win 6 out of 10 games vs UM than 8 out of 10. Just because it will feel better or something?

It's not that I wish for tsun to be good. I have no control over the situation. But tsun being shitty wasn't going to last forever. If they are going to be good again, and hiring Harbaugh is a step in that direction, then I'm not scared of heisman poses or traitors. I welcome the challenge with every belief that tOSU will rise to the occasion.

BINGO. Has nothing to do with being scared of them at all, Jesus H Christ, Urban Meyer ain't gonna be scared of Jim Harbaugh. And neither am I as a fan. Bring that mother fucker on.

But to fret over the fact that OSU might lose a few recruits b/c JH will be the next coach of tsun?? C'mon folks. Listen to yourselves. Being concerned over shit like that smells of fear and uncertainty. Our coach is Urban Meyer. We have every reason to be confident.

Bring on the challenge. I want to beat Michigan when they're a top #10 team, not a BIG bottom feeder.

No actually what is has to do with is odds and risk reward.

The key factors in the equation are the reward side:1) OSU doesn't need scUM to be any better than they are now (see current inclusion in the playoffs) and the Risk side; 2) the better scUM is the higher their odds of beating OSU.

So any increase to risk that doesn't also increase reward is a bad thing for OSU. The people pining for a better scUM are also essentially saying "lets add risk without any reward because you know Woody and Bo".

Just saying it's an opinion and to each his own doesn't make it a smart opinion.

There's a difference between what you just said and what many people are saying. Really, you said exactly how I feel. We have no control on UM being good. It inevitably would happen. But that doesn't mean you WANT them to be good. There are people who actually WANT them to be good. As in, if they hired Hoke 2.0 they would be disappointed. That's what makes me question some people's logic.

Yes, if they get Harbaugh it won't make me scared of them as a fan. But no, I don't want them to get Harbaugh because I want them to suck.

You know what's better than a Ten Year War? A ten year win streak.

Evidently Harbaugh is meeting with the Raiders this morning.

Bingo. ANY win over Michigan is pure gold to me. Over a 10-year period, I'd take 10 wins in a row over Michigan squads that finished with 0-12 records over 9 wins and 1 loss against Michigan squads that finish each season in the top 5.

The 49's released Harbaugh yesterday with the comment that he could pursue his next coaching opportunity with no restraints. However, as was pointed out to me by a Wolverine, that may only mean no restraints should he go to Michigan. Another NFL team may have to buy out his remaining contract, offer draft picks etc. because the 49's would not want Harbaugh to stay in the NFL.

I live not far from AA, so I have heard the whining first hand for the past ten years. They have lusted after Harbaugh since before Rodriguez was hired. He is all they talk about. They are convinced that he is the second coming of Schembechler, to the point that they claim he grew up here(He lived in Ann Arbor for a couple years, they forget he graduated from high school in CA), that this is home, etc. They think his first wife lives in Michigan(she lives in CA with his youngest children from that marriage)etc.

Harbaugh delirium is so bad that this morning, the Detroit Free Press had a huge front page story welcoming Jimmy home, etc.
However, the photo was of....John.
