I cannot imagine a worse time for Carroll to leave. Not many coaches available, signing day a month out. Could get ugly for USC.

Forget Prater, Henderson is the player who this impacts the most(if the rumors are true). It has been long known that SC and OSU are Henderson's top 2 schools. You have to think this puts us way out in front for Henderson(especially if the O-Coordinator defects with Carroll).

Leaving for the NFL would be consistent with NCAA sanctions on the way and loss of the PAC 10 dominance that has characterized the last decade. Still, I'll believe that the NCAA does something only when it happens, despite the ruling about the depositions.
