Hey guys I'm new here, but I've read a bunch of the comments here and I have a question to ask...

Am I the *only* Buckeye fan that wanted to see Michigan win? Here's my logic: UM beats USC, PSU beats Tenn, and of course tOSU beats UF... that leaves no doubt in anyone's mind who's the top dog.

I despise Michigan as much as the next guy, but I'd much rather shut up those SEC and Pac-10 apologists than see Michigan get spanked like they did tonight.

I'm sure you are not alone.

There are certainly support groups that can help you.

being just two twelve step programs that can provide needed help and companionship at this time of the year for the errant Buckeye fan

Nah. It is what it is. The suggestion that the Big Ten had the best two teams in the country, and therefore, should get both bids to the NC game was flat out laughable. I wonder what Kirk Herbstreit, the guy who was so impressed with Michigan making a game out of it with OSU that he was ready to put Michigan in the NC game despite the loss, is thinking right now. Maybe something like "Ooooops..."

Nope, i was as well. ALWAYS root for the Big 10.

Of course it does help that I hate USC. Doesnt pain me to pull for scUM so much as long as they are playing someone like USC, ND, or Miami.

Haha, well perhaps I'm not as hardcore a Buckeye as I thought...

But seriously, I hate USC, and I hate the fact that they're going to be a tremendous dynasty for *at least* as long as Pete Carrol is there.

USC lost to two 5 loss squads... their talk is pretty cheap as a result. To me, they already have the 'elite program' hype, so this win doesn't change much. We'll have a direct shot at them in two years.

Wisky & PSU hand it to the SEC. OSU can complete the sweep. Choking UM is not needed to put the SEC in their place.

UM win:
- Entire offseason of #1 hype, title contenders
- The whining over being 'snubbed' only gets louder, and never ends
- Changing tide in UM program, much easier sell in recruiting imo

Instead:
- UM was not a legitimate title contender after all
- Continued failures for Carr & UM despite English's hype
- Negative recruiting tactics against UM still hold true (Weis/Paterno are thrilled)

All herbie is probably on suicide watch or is so depressed over riding high on Scum and having there back for the NC game. No, I'm not bashing Herbie either cause he was calling a spade a spade. He was impressed with Scum after Nov 18th.

Ah, yes... the good old fashioned 1 Championship "dynasty."

?

How do you figure? They did have 2 officially... and they're likely going to be the #1 seed next year.

EDIT: Well I suppose that one of the titles was strictly an AP title... but that counts IMO.

i wanted scum to win but i wasn't rooting for them (it's a definition thing). my primary reason is principled. i want my greatest rival to be victorious except when he faces me. a victory over a strong opponent is always much sweeter than one over a lackluster opponent.

of course, seeing your archrival drawn and quartered is satisfying, too.

They did? Only 1 BCS........the other was AP. That dont count

Alright alright, fair enough.

BUT I do think that USC can be a real threat, and one worth mentioning--particularly since we play them in 2008 and 2009. Looking at the Scout top 100 list, it seems as if half the recruits always have USC as a finalist, and that worries me just a bit.
