Bo was my favorite of all time but I think now that he's gone we need a new direction with a younger staff full of enthusiasm.
May be it's time to cut the ties with the old guard and start fresh. We can't seem to beat the elite teams and I don't think it's our talent level. I just wish Lloyd would do the right thing and step aside. Give him a big office like Bo had and let's move on.

The meltdown on umgoblue is really quite amusing. People calling for the entire staff's jobs, to include English whom they had been annointing as "god" all season long. Personal attacks on players (mainly Morgan Trent). Read that board now, and it's as if you've stepped into a time-warp to right after last years Alamo Bowl debacle.:lol:

I've noticed that as well. IMO it seems that PC just looks at all the highly ranked players, and offers them schollies. I don't know how well he develops his players. JT recruits several players that are ranked very low and coaches them up, Hawk, TS etc. I can't remember any really good players coming out of USC that were ranked low.

On a different note, it is very concerning that Big10 teams have been losing in the rose bowl of late. I hope we can reverse that trend in the near future.

Mike Williams was a 3 star. 'Course, he's not setting the NFL on fire, but he was outstanding in college. But, other than him, can't think of anyone else off the top of my head.

My thoughts on this game:

1. Leon Hall is arguably the most overrated DB I've ever seen, as I said earlier this week. He gets lit up by any receiver that will make it to the next level. I feel sorry for the NFL team that wastes their top 10 pick on him.
2. Mike Hart and all the scUM morons that I've had to endure on the topic of scUM getting screwed should finally shut up.
3. I predict articles to be everywhere tomorrow quoting scUM players who said that USC is a much, much better team than tOSU.
4. Dwayne Jarrett is a classless idiot, and USC fans should be embarrassed that he represents their university.
