Was he tapping out as he was being dragged?:slappy:

It's hilarious how many people on the scUM boards are now throwing English under the bus. The same Ron English they had been annointing as their savior all season long...

Re: Radio Report has Ron English as leading candidate... This is just funny. Who cares about English. I'm not impressed with his coaching or recruiting.

Re: Radio Report has Ron English as leading candidate... English = overrated. I hope he gets it. Maybe then we can bring in a major defensive coach with a transition plan.

Hart: "Holy shit! maybe I should have spent more time thinking about this game and not a rematch with OSU."

Llllloyd: "Don't worry son, you get used to it."

Save this picture for all the bitching and whining and shit talk we're going to hear this offseason from Mr. Hart.

Yep... we as Buckeye fans hate it when there are sweeping generalizations about our fanbase therefore we shouldn't do the same thing to others. Do the research (in this case read the thread) before making those statements.

This courtesy rule does not apply to scUM or NoD.

I understand that there werent any others on THAT board that bucked up the guy, however, if you search through other boards (si.com, espn.com, rivals, etc.) Ive seen others. I understand what you are getting at with making one fans opinion an entire nations.

Memo to Self - Don't Listen to Erik Kuselias - It's Bad For Your Heallth

On his drive-home segment on ESPN radio [SIZE=-1]Erik Kuselias was showing his true colors. By that I don't mean that he is a TSUN homer (he is, by the way). What I mean is that he is simply delusional.

Normally Kuselias tries to run a point - counter-point, which consists of him taking a provocative, yet defensible, stance. He then invites callers in to, well, argue with him. Sports Talk Radio 101 if you will, with the caveat that you must have what type of stance, boys and girls? That's right, a defensible stance.

Today he lost out big time.

His stance? The ONLY reason why Michigan lost the Rose Bowl is because they were still down-in-the-dumps, feeling unwanted, shilled and otherwise crapped upon by not going to the Championship game and instead settling for that worthless stage of the Rose Bowl.

Were they out-coached - No, he says. Were they overmatched? No, he says, because their hearts were not in the game.

Idiotic, truly an idiotic stance. It ignores all the evidence. It ignores the 3-3 tie at the half. It ignores the press conference afterward during which, in nearly successive questions, Carr tells us all exactly how USC adjusted, then dismisses out of hand the possibility that he and the coaching staff might have considered similar adjustments. In other words, they were not emotionally down in the first half - certainly not on defense. In other words, they did not effectively adjust at half-time - while USC demonstrably did so. They were in that second half simply outcoached.

Now, I have no doubt that emotion is part of the equation. USC having something to prove to themselves after the UCLA loss. But what kind of team psyche could not take the rough hand TSUN felt they were dealt and turn that into a spur to excel?

Perhaps it was not possible because Carr did not find a way to do such a thing, but, like the lack of adjustment at half-time motivation is also itself part of a coaches job.
