RB Lydell Ross (official thread)

you know, sometimes its not just the raw ability that a player has.

Lydell has enormous will to succeed. He stuck with Ohio State even though, to the best of his knowledge, MoC could have been starting the entire time Lydell was in college. Not only did he stick with TOSU, he worked harder to keep competing for that top spot.

Who knows, with a few years of NFL coaching, he could be a solid, reliable back.

I thought he got injured before that? I don't think he ever saw the field in a NFL regular season game.

Not sure if he got hurt or not, and I'm pretty sure he got cut or whatever well before he had the chance to play in an actual game. I do think he originally signed with the team and was at practices, however.

When it was all said and done....

... his numbers weren't that bad. 596 carries, 2439 yds, 26 tds, 31 rec & 240 yrds recieving. I am sure he was thrilled to have a workout with his hometown team. I wouldn't mind seeing Fox the safety and Fraser the tweener getting a good look from the Browns. On a personal level, Lydell would have done a great job in the interview, very articluate and very humble. (Compare that to MoC explaing how he never caused any problems)

I'm hopin B.Joe gets some good looks. While he had a hard time staying healthy, I think he may have the most potential to stick. On a side note, I am far from feeling up a man, but the dude is built like a brick shithouse. It's no wonder he set the BP record
