In 2006 the UM band was booed so much that 1) you couldn't hear what they were playing and 2) my ears were ringing during the moment of silence for Schembechler.

I was also there in person and it. Was. Beautiful. One guy next to me was booing so loudly it almost drowned out the other the chorus of boos. A tear almost rolled down my eye at that moment. What was even more glorious was an equally loud chorus of cheers while the OSU marching band marched across the field. Just thinking about it causes me to tear up with pride.

I also don't think you should boo the "nothing" teams. Boo Hawaii? Northern Illinois? Bah. I won't do it. Heck, I really don't boo Michigan. Just their stupid band, and their "greatest fight song". Pfft.

First of all, I agree that booing any team is stupid. But, this post cracks me up. On one had, it's thoughtful, nice and considerate, but on the other hand, it's over-the-top violent, harsh, and meat-headed. Interesting mix, I must say. Kudos, Buckyle.
