Wasn't even fact checking. I was interested to see who they play while reading through the thread and then saw your post after.Well, thanks for thinking I was calling ISU a bye week....
The chances that I was just wrong are impossible. :p
Seriously, though, I did think they were off this week. My bad. Good catch.
I don't know if Baylor moves in front or not. Time will tell on that one. I guess, considering the "trollish" nature of the voters, I can see where they would drop the Buckeyes.Wasn't even fact checking. But seriously, if OSU beats Rutgers by the same amount as Baylor beats ISU, they'll still jump OSU. Even though OSU's on the road against the better team and Baylor is at home against the weaker opponent.
17-26 combined opponent's win/lossMan, how can Baylor be expected to survive that buzzsaw of a schedule?
Well, in fairness, I haven't heard a single entity that has not noted and complained about Baylor's schedule. Now, some folks have stated that their ability to dominate that weak schedule points to them being good, but no one complaining about our schedule gives Baylor a pass on theirs.17-26 combined opponent's win/loss
And people are complaining about Ohio State's schedule? Those same people that complain about Ohio State's schedule think Baylor should be the #1 team?
I watched the Baylor game yesterday. They were solidly beaten in the second half (20 to 10) and the substitute quarterback could not move the team. It is not that they took the foot off the pedal, it is that the QB can't execute the playbook.
They could lose at least two games by year end. In fact, they could lose to Okie, Okie State, and TCU. It's over for them.
Baylor is no longer a player without starting QB. This is wide open for the 4 spots. November, as always, will be fun.
