Preseason and Regular Season Polls (2015)

The maneuvering of SEC teams is blatant. Utah loses, so my vote goes to LSU? It would be nice to see which coaches voted for them...
I wanna wring Joe Tessitore's neck. He gives Galloway a ton of shit for having us at #1 in his playoff bracket and says LSU is his #1. Fine. But then he starts mentioning Alabama, and when Galloway asked him point blank if Tessitore would have them in his top 4, Tessitore skirted the issue and then mentioned Alabama and Stanford pass the eye test better than Ohio State. You know, the Alabama and Stanford teams that have losses. Fuck Tessitore...

A lot of these guys with AP votes are columnists (as opposed to beat writers). They drive their readership by being controversial. They're as much a journalist as Bill O'Reilly. Sure they're part of the sports/news department but it really isn't their job to be objective (rather it is their job to rile up internet message boards:biggrin:).

Memphis - undefeated with a convincing win over Ole Miss at home
Alabama - already lost with a convincing loss against Ole Miss

Yet one gets playoff pub and the other is lucky to make it into the Top 15. On top of that, Memphis won @ BGSU, which not for nothing is 6-2, has an elite offense and is undefeated on the road in the B1G!

If they go undefeated, which would include wins @ Houston and @ Temple....you can't keep them out of the playoff. With Lynch at QB they are Boise State reincarnated this year.

After an appetizer of games so craptastic Ohio State at Rutgers was nationally televised on ABC, the main course this week is Notre Dame at Temple. For desert next week, we get Minnesota at Ohio State.

Conference expansion is awesome!!!
