Preseason and Regular Season Polls (2015)

Like I said days ago, ten ranked teams from one conference was a fucking joke.

Tennessee = largest blown home lead in program history. Lost.
Arkansas = lost to Toledo.
Auburn = pulled one out of their asses in OT against mighty Jacksonville State.
Missouri = clinging to a 4 point lead versus Arkansas State.

Before the rankings come out, thought I'd post my own top 25...

1) Ohio State
2) Alabama
3) M*ch*g*n State
4) USC
5) TCU
6) Texas A&M
7) Georgia Tech
8) Ole Miss
9) UCLA
10) N_tre _ame
11) Clemson
12) Oklahoma
13) Baylor
14) Georgia
15) Oregon
16) BYU
17) LSU
18) Arizona
19) Northwestern
20) Temple
21) Florida State
22) Utah
23) Wisconsin
24) Auburn
25) Houston

First 5 out- Duke, Toledo, Okie State, Tennessee, Cal

Thoughts...
- By Conference: SEC-6, PAC-5, B1G-4, Big12-3, ACC-3, IND-2, AAC-2
- Feel really good about the top 22, but it really drops off after that. Lots of proving to do in-conference for basically everybody in college football.
- It's hard to rank the Big 12. Minus the OU/Tenn game, the rest of the conference plays a dog shit non-conference schedule... the whole lot of them. In all seriousness, it's an embarrassment to college football. I'm convinced Baylor will lose to the first defense they play with a pulse.
- I see the SEC being 5 strong (Bama, TA&M, Ole Miss, GA, LSU) with the strong possibility for upsets from the rest of the 9. Other than Georgia and maybe Tennessee, the SEC east is hot garbage. Ole Miss@Bama next week is going to be interesting. Is Ole Miss really that good, or are they just going "Wisconsin" on inferior opponents?
- I'd have the Domers at 7 if it wasn't for Malik Zaire's injury.
- Georgia Tech is my darkhorse for the playoffs at this point and the best in the ACC, IMO. If I had to pick a second at this point, I'd say its UCLA
- If Northwestern wins @ Duke next week, would love to see them run the table and represent the west in the B1G championship game. It's an absolute joke that they were unranked this past week after beating playoff darkhorse Stanford.
- As fluky as BYU has played, they have arguably the best two consecutive wins in college football at this point. Interested to see them play @ UCLA next week and @ TSUN the week after that.
- USC's win over Arkansas St looks a whole lot more impressive after Missouri choked the way they did against them. Interested to see if they can win out with as hard as their schedule is.
- Major props to Toledo for shutting Bert (and the SEC) the hell up. They were going to be the team to beat in the upstart MAC this preseason and they did nothing to dispel that last night.
- Ohio State/Mich State in The Horseshoe is going to be fire.

So their playoff/bowl game? 8D
Personally, I'd have Oregon ahead of Baylor, and in the top 10. Probably both top-10. But you're consistent with penalizing teams that don't play D so it's gravy.
GTech would be a sleeper in playoffs too... triple option can really throw a wrench at you and be an equalizer. Johnson is a mastermind with it using a higher quality athlete than the service academies can bring in.

Way too early for me to feel good about anyones ranking but I'd swap UGA and the Domers.

ND had their hands full with a very pedestrian UVA team well before the QB got hurt.

FSU and Baylor look to be (so far) the most overrated in the top 10.

Notre Dame, I'm just numb to whatever bloated ranking they have. It's meaningless.
Hopefully the domer's ranking will be taken care of this week. Will probably be a high scoring game cause I'm not 100% believer in the roofense, but i know brian vangorder has no clue what to do vs justin thomas running the TO.

Baylol will keep outscoring everyone on their shit ooc schedule and defense deficient big12 until tcu ram some purple dino dick up their baptist poopholes.

I think it's fair, MSU has the biggest win of the season so far -- out of anyone. They deserve some love, more than they're getting. And we'll get a chance to settle it on the field.

Don't be surprised if Playoff Committee has MSU ahead of us in their first rankings... we'll have played Indiana, Maryland, PSU, Rutgers by that point.
