Ya, I'm not married and (because?) I don't put up with that sort of nonsense. It is mind-bogglingly frustrating to express an injury concern with someone, or any concern at all for that matter, and when your concern portends truth to be thusly lambasted. I couldn't fathom it.

Just a bit from a girl's point of view...........part of why she's mad at you could be because she is mad at herself too and needs somewhere to take it. It's stupid, I know, but that part she will calm down from eventually. It's hard to admit/face that you made a stupid mistake, especially when someone else points it out! :wink2:

Your wife feels guilty about the whole thing. But she's mad at you for not saying "Its okay that you were utterly clueless and irresponsible and it caused our daughter to be injured. I still love you despite your stupidity and the burning pain our daughter feels due to your negligence."
