Pet peeve/person to punch:

A receptionist that gets personal calls constantly during work hours and will even go so far as to NOT answer a business line while she is on said personal calls. THAT IS NOT MY JOB, PICK UP THE FING PHONE!!!!

This lady will get a call from her boyfriend 2 minutes after she gets to work. He calls up to 6 times a day. What the F does ANYONE NEED TO KNOW SO MUCH during a business day? She turns off her cell phone during business hours to comply with a personal call policy.............

I didn't mention the 4 calls from her daughter and the 2-4 calls from her son, all of whom LIVE WITH HER.

I'm pretty sure the city I work in is called Santa Ana but maybe the map was changed recently? :biggrin:

I want her to keep using her phone, I just don't want her to use it for so many personal calls. :(

If I answer the phone and it's her boyfriend, I just tell him she's not available and will call him back. I don't even bother transferring it anymore because if I'm answering the phone, then obviously, she is too busy.....even if she isn't. :wink2: I'm starting to do the same if it's her daughter as well, although that little twit always says "It's an emergency!"

It's a company where not doing your job is NO REASON to fire you.

She does her actual job, other than this part, just fine.

Also, I do not have the power to fire anyone. :(

wifey just calls and starts off the conversation with "i know you are going to say its my fault and i know you are going to be mad, but....", then proceeds to tell me something that has got me full fucking hot to the point that i dont say anything else to her because I know i'll go off the deep end (oh yeah and i'm at work too, so that make it so much better) - then she gets pissed at me for being mad at her? seriously, what the fuck

when she is getting ready for work in the mornings, she brings the kiddo into our bedroom and lets her watch TV and have her milk. wifey sits on the floor in front of the mirror to put on her makup and do her hair, with some thing called a flat iron that makes her curly hair straight - this iron is very fucking hot, and i've bitched for a long time that i didn't think it was smart to have it on the floor since the kiddo doesn't just sit on the bed and watch TV, she is 2 so she is all over the place. well this morning the kidlet tripped and landed on the iron, she burnt two of her fingers - not enough for a trip to the doctor, but enough to get two small blisters (thumb and ring finger). i'm pissed off that this happened because the bitch was careless enough to have it sitting on the floor and because she wont wake up 20 minutes early to get ready before the kiddo gets up. and since i got pissed at her, she gets pissed at me -
