For fuck's sake, they did another one of those?!?!?!? There's another reason I haven't watched sportscenter in 6 months. Remember when it was Charlie Steiner and Keith Olbermann and they just did highlights of actual games? Those were the days.

Remember when they reported the news rather than making the news.

example. I was working on a paper yesterday morning and had mike and mike on. They had an interview with Sal Palentonio(sp?) who just released a book of the most overrated and underrated players in nfl history. The "interview" lasted 45 minutes, and then the rest of the show they talked about how controversial the book was and how it would spark debate blah blah blah. hmmmmmmmm nice way to forgo real sports talk and push your own employees.

I don't know if this is true because I was at the game saturday, but I was told by someone that was watching the game on saturday, that when usc lost they didn't switch over to show the highlight, but instead Herbie was just like well according to my blackberry usc just lost. For anyone that saw our game on tv, is this true?

you don't if what is true?

I remember Herbie giving an update about Stanford being in USC territory but if you flipped over to the game he was a few plays behind what was going on.

if it was true they didn't show the end of the game, with one of their in game "highlights" they do with most games.

No I know they own them, just thought it was weird that they didn't show it. I thought the guy was making up the fact they didn't do a "game break"to show the end highlight
