He was the second choice at Vandy after the HC was forced out and Malzhan turned them down.

He's 24-15 overall and 11-13 in conference play. He uses a healthy dose of UMass and other OOC cream puffs to get Bowl eligible per SEC regulations.

We shall see but I'm not quite ready to skip to his HOF induction speech just yet.

NASHVILLE — Vanderbilt athletic director David Williams says James Franklin remains the Commodores' football coach as of Thursday afternoon and that Franklin has informed him that he has not accepted another job offer.
Several media outlets have reported that Franklin has an offer from Penn State that he is expected to accept it within 48 hours, or as early as Thursday afternoon.
Williams told The Associated Press that he has heard all of the reports and knows that Penn State officials have been talking with Franklin. The Vanderbilt athletic director says Franklin called him earlier Thursday to tell him reports the coach had accepted another job were "inaccurate."
Williams says that as of 2:45 p.m. EST that Franklin "is Vanderbilt's football coach."

No one said Hall of Fame, but he's a good hire. He will win there.

If true, I think that's a good hire for them, and more EVIDENTS that they're trying to move away from the cult of Il Pa Joe. We'll see if the pedterno people drive him away like they did O'Brien. He's already been mentioned for NFL jobs, so if he is successful, expect that wonderful little dance they did the last two years with BOB to continue.

JFC... Does this board HAVE to hate on everything? It's not like it's a contrarian opinion that the dude is a good coach. But NOOOOOOooooo, folks gotta continue the crap since it's PSU related. Sometimes it's like a cult in here too...sheesh.

Honor, like making players who get into trouble clean the stadium as punishment (while that same assistant fucks more little boys in the shower) type of honor?

Honor, like not ruining a mother fuckers weekend by telling him that assistant coach is still fucking little boys in the shower?

Lets not be so quick to diminish the works of glorious leader here fellas. Anyone can win but doing it without honor leaves a taste like Jerry Sandusky's balls in your mouth.

I've noticed you arguing with a lot of people in a lot of different places recently.

I guess BP being a cult is one of the options. Either that or you are just wrong on most things... Or you like taking a contrarian position to stir the pot.

I think the latter two are more likely, but I guess that would make me a member of the cult in your eyes.
