OSU Men's Basketball Recruiting/Projections/General Discussions

I don’t see why we couldn’t land Diallo and Brunk both. That position group is so thin and Diallo is a project with not a lot of minutes expected and Brunk is a ready to play but 2 year guy. I just think that would be a really good scenario if the staff could land both.

Not sure what to believe but it does kind of feel like ever since they decided they wanted to keep recruiting for next season, Holtmann and company have kind of been in a sort of unfocused desperation mode where I'm not sure they have a super clear idea of what they want to add. We've been attached to a number of names where I'm actively praying we don't get them.

It’s not a joke. And no thanks.

Eh I was actually thinking about this when Jadee transferred. I'm not 100% against it. Giddens I feel like made a bad decision to leave but he went about it the right way. This wasn't burn all bridges on the way out transfer. So I wouldn't be opposed to have him back for a year as a depth player. Let's be honest here this year showed we need someone behind Caleb badly at the 5. Sure Giddens probably won't score much but his freshman year showed he could play some D when he wasn't fouling.

I would reply to your post but I just do not know where to start. Just say we disagree on almost everything that you stated. Have you ever heard of a player transferring to another school and then transferring back to school he transferred from? I cannot think of any but there are so many other holes in your post I will just leave it at that.

It's rare but not unheard of. Giddens would provide good defensive energy off the bench. I wouldn't take him over a 4 year player but as a depth guy for D at 5 when Caleb is out as opposed to another wing who doesn't shoot well I'd take him all day.
