Oh, right. I forgot about him, I guess I am used to having more limited depth on the roster. So maybe only need one more big. Also, they could use Andre or Alonzo there in a small ball lineup.Kyle Young, baby!
But yeah, I'd say adding at least one big is going to be necessary.
I think Alonzo would have to eat a lot of mashed potatoes to play the 5 position in the Big Ten. He is still only packing 190 lbs. if what I have read is correct.Oh, right. pedon with a couple interesting twitter follows.
jaire grayer is a 6'5" sg/sf originally from flint who was a senior at george mason before suffering a foot injury 7 games into the season. though i see no mention of a grad transfer announcement, it's nonetheless a curious "follow" from our staff. one staff member began following cj walker before he announced anything last year. this one appears different from walker, though, in that i can't find the staff ever recruiting grayer. anyway, grayer averaged around 10 points each season a gmu, has shot in the upper 30s behind the arc, will hit the boards, and forces turnovers at a high clip. some good games as a junior against louisville, auburn, and psu. solid athlete who scouts as a good defender. started 102 out of 105 games.
this one's mostly interesting because adding him would be a peculiar move if you're expecting each of our small forwards and even the shooting guards to return.
terry nolan jr. is a 6'2" combo guard out of baltimore who started almost every game in two seasons at george washington. he announced his intent to transfer a few days ago. he'd obviously be a sit one, play two transfer available for 2020. like grayer, nolan also averaged about 10 points each year. increased to 35% behind the arc as a sophomore but shot only 62% from the line (after 72% as a freshman). some good games against quality competition both seasons, but the assist-to-turnover ratio was barely over 1-to-1. looks taller than 6'2" with a wingspan that is probably no shorter than 6'8".
this one's mostly interesting because it gets rather crowded with nolan, carton, walker, muhammad, and washington at the 1 and 2, especially with no player being over 6'3" and no player who fits as a 3 in a small-ball lineup. maybe nolan or muhammad would be that guy, but it's pushing it.
what's your point? that it's merely coincidental that a coach is following during transfer season two players who have announced that they're transferring?I’m confused. Are you saying it’s a lone gunmen from the book depository? What about the supposed shots from the grassy knoll?
I could give a shit what the people at Butler think of Ohio State's basketball coach recruiting one of their players who is going to transfer. Holtmann should only give a damn about the success of Ohio State and puck Butler.I don't think Holt wants to give the impression that he is raiding Butler, I believe there is a sensitivity to that as well.
Nah. I think it’s actually some impressive detective work. Nice job. Just making a joke about it all as conspiracy theory, tin foil hat humor.what's your point? that it's merely coincidental that a coach is following during transfer season two players who have announced that they're transferring?
