:slappy: That's pretty damn close man.

FWIW, I think that the landscape is going to be shook up even more this weekend. I would not be surprised to see either Cal, Penn St. or Miami lose. Perhaps we will see a couple of them go down. I kind of hope so, I am already sick of hearing the yapping about them. While were at it I wouldn't mind seeing Michigan get their ass kicked just because.

I just took Bowling Green over Boise State in the upset picks contest - not that I didn't have it out for the Broncos before now. It's a shame Bowling Green didn't make it a noon game - I think more underdog teams in the Eastern time zone should do that to teams from the west when they make the trip

Dennis Dodd thinks the Flu could cause.....chaos!

Here's a post-apocalyptic look at the future for you: The BCS national championship game canceled because of the flu.
OK, admittedly there's a bit of Chicken Little mixed in there, but consider how the game is at the mercy of current outbreaks. The seasonal flu mixed with the H1N1 virus is currently ravaging the country. Several schools have been hit, hard, by the flu to the point that Mississippi would have had a hard time fielding a team two weeks ago.
Thankfully, it had a bye. But if one player -- one key player -- sat out of a big game because he couldn't get out of the bed, the delicate balance of college football could be upset.

Colt McCoy battled the flu before battling Texas Tech last weekend. (AP) Think of a Tebow-less Florida or a McCoy-less Texas.

Yeah man, I think we're going to see a handful of them this weekend. I think Miami goes down to Va. Tech, Penn St. gets beat, and Cal takes a hit. I think Va. Tech at home is too much for a good Miami team. Their defense has been solid so far. As for Penn St, they are a shell of their squad from last year and have injury issues. Cal is Cal, they will lose a game they shouldn't.

We don't need Va Tech to win because I think Okla will beat Miami but either way one of those teams right behind us are going to be gone. We are actually rooting to have Penn State in the top 4 when we play them to give us some relevance back(even though we all know they aren't as good as their rank). Cal would be a big loss because then Cal or USC are gone the next week. As shown in our previous posts, there are teams that we really need to root for this weekend and SCar was one of them and they came thru. Being in the top 10 or better when the BCS arrives is the first big step in the Chaos project. At that point if State Penn is top 4-5 in BCS and we go beat them, then OSU jumps because of the Comps and Harris voters to top 4. Then ranked Iowa and ranked scUM could finish the deal for us with the B12 ad SEC likely having 2 of the teams in front. Go UPSETS!!!! and more importantly GO BUCKS!!!!!

The SEC is going to turn into one big cluster f@*! Ole Miss already lost, as soon as LSU plays any one decent they will lose. Alabama will slip up against Ole Miss, Arkansa or LSU. Florida is beatable, but they don't play anyone.

Other than Arkansas, LSU, anything goes rivalry game Georgia, a rejuvenated and ranked FSU that just crushed a pretty good BYU squad, and the winner in the West (likely Bama), you are right.

Hope you get by the Juggernaut that is Zook this Saturday.
