Looks like our 125 lb starter is transferring. Probably wants to be at 133 but sees Pletcher and NaTo ahead of him.
That stinks. Did not see that coming at all and now it's a big hole in the lineup.
Yeah, I don't have much expectation that 125 is a weight we get much from this year.Especially with the timing. We could have recruited for that spot better if we would have known. Now we just have to tell Mead to hit the gym hard and hope for the best I guess.

Starting to sound like NaTo may come back down to 125.
The Buckeyes have already decided that Luke Pletcher, who came out of redshirt to wrestle at 141 this season, eventually earning the number 12 seed at nationals, plans to redshirt next season and move back down to 133 for 2018-19 after Nathan Tomasello graduates.
This article seems to indicate Pletcher taking a RS in 2017

That was an interesting interview. I think being in the same RTC with Logan it would be ideal if they could wrestle in different weights at the freestyle level. Logan looked really sucked down at 61kg and I would imagine 60kg would be too much of a cut. Same for Nate at 55kg. I guess we'll find out next fall.Based on his interview on the steelwood radio podcast yesterday it will be based on what the international weight classes end up being. If they stay at 57kg and 61kg he will wrestle at 125. If they move to 55kg and 60kg he will wrestle at 133.
