Ohio State Wrestling (2015/2017/2018 B1G Champs, 2015 National Champs, 2019 National Runners-up)

Camp loses in OT and barely misses AA status.

Cam and Heflin will place at least 6th as both won again!!

Team seems to be performing well and is headed toward the top of of stkoran's expectations or better as they are currently in 5th! He has a potential to be dead on with 4 of his all-american placement calls. Camp is outperforming though!

1. Penn State 124.0
2. Minnesota 101.5
3. Iowa 87.5
4. Cornell 86.0
5. Ohio St. 60.0
6. Illinois 57.5
6. Lehigh 57.5
8. Oklahoma St. 57.0
9. Virginia Tech 35.0
10. Michigan 34.0

Logan will be going for 1st, Cam will be going for 3rd, and Hunter will be going for 5th. Not bad for a bunch of freshmen from little ole Monroeville. They were the most exciting thing to happen to Monroeville since we got out first fast food restaurant (Subway) about 10 years ago. It has been a pleasure watching these kids grow up and compete. The future looks bright for Ohio State wrestling. On a side note, they will be adding a 4th Monroeville wrestler, Chris Phillips, who transferred from NC State earlier this year. Looking forward to seeing all the medal rounds and how much these guys progress before next year.

In other medal-round action, Nick Heflin (174 pounds) and Hunter Stieber (141 pounds) were fifth and sixth-place finishers in their respective brackets.

Logan is a national champ!!!

Logan was taken down early, but escaped. He then had an opportunity for a take down but couldn't complete. He later found himself in the same position and executed the take down.

In the last 20 seconds OK State had an opportunity for a take down and both the wrestler and his coaches appealed for it. One of the TV color guys also thought it could have been a take down. Those last 20 seconds were intense and Logan's defense was awesome!

New coach, new outlook, new results. Not to jump on the bandwagon, but congrats to the wrestling team. More points toward the Director's Cup, and solidifying another OSU place in sports.

Great job to the freshmen, wow, cannot wait to see the recruiting class coming in now! If I was the coach, I'd park my car (or Lear) at Monroeville, Ohio, and take the whole team (no disrespect intended to any other OSU wrestling target who can and will sign with OSU wrestling)......

:gobucks3::gobucks4::banger: First time over Iowa, now 5th in NCAA's.....let's go to Disneyland!

Funny thing is they aren't a powerhouse traditionally and don't have any OSU-caliber tagets currently. However, when they had Tessari, Phillips, and the Stieber brothers, that talent pool was crazy talented.

A little bit off topic but do you have any idea why we don't recruit out of the power house program located in Lakewood Ohio by the name of St. Edward:huh:
