Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

JuJu with 38 points and USC hands the Lady Bruins their first loss of the season.
And she had 8 blocks!

There was a stat that showed all players in the history of the NBA, WNBA, and NCAA men’s and women’s hoops with a game that included 35+points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists, 5 threes, and 5 blocks in a single game.

She was the only name on the list.

She's a baller no doubt and she's in a different mold from CC which probably means she'll dominate the pros as well like Caitlin. She's bigger and appears stronger but didn't have the range or accuracy, yet.

That's what was so frustrating for our girls, we really locked her down but couldn't hit a damn shot to save our lives. We really need to start working a lineup with Petty and Lammia in same time, especially when we aren't shooting great. McGuff is getting stale on Offense

Cannot disagree with you Bestbuck, but....who would you send to the pine? Cotie, TT? Go to a single guard? Jalonie seems to be avoiding her shot, and looking to be a more true 1 position. Was raised on a high/low post duo, with a 1,2,3 guards. Cotie is more of a 3 than Thierry, but Taylor does too many little things to sit down. Am starting to believe more in Elsa, as Petty is too hot-and-cold (mostly cold) for my taste. Oh well, opinions are like .....noses, everyone's got one. Go Bucks!

Watched Minnie's 'hefty' center crash the boards time after time. Petty didn't seem to be able to figure out how to box out, and she crashed right through Elsa. Memo to McDuff, play Eboni when something like this happens. While she may give away a few inches, Eboni knows how to maneuver her body to maximize its utilization. In other words, Eboni wouldn't be intimidated, and would 'walk her out' of the box. He needs to use his 'bigs' to their best advantage. PS, am big on Elsa's development in the post. She needs some more 'meat on her bones', but like her instincts and abilities. Right now, opposition is daring her to shoot. All Elsa does is get the ball in the post, and give back to the cutter, while trying to rub off the defender. A quick pivot and pop (and hit) would make her a threat in the paint, and a fake and drive to the opposite side as well. Would make the defender more honest, and mayhaps clear a lane for Cotie/Jaloni, etc for a layup. PS, great heart by the Lady Bucks, although they gave up a 14 point lead, going into OT. It was then they exhibited their killer instinct, for the win. Looking for a deep run in the Dance. Believe they should be seeded higher than a 4-5 though. Go Bucks!
