Cotie needs to pull her head out and play basketball. This passive shit was great to get your teammates involved early on in the season but not they need her to be a great player and quit standing around. Let's go ladies!!

As I was typing they all ramped it up. Petty is working her ass off tonight! Just keep playing hard at both ends

JuJu is a great player but God does she get away with murder. Travels constantly and flails to get foul calls which is an epidemic in basketball at all levels right now and disgusting, imo.

Now Petty has 3 fouls which is par for the course.

Doing a great job on JuJu through the first half and it will help if we get an even number of credible foul calls this second half. We are getting zero second chance points and they are. That is the entire story of the game tonight.

Come on McGuff be a fucking leader and get more out of these girls where we need it!

Never had a chance. Cotie hurt now going to make this embarrassing I have a feeling.

McGuff is recruiting like a champ right now but the development flat out sucks. We are shooting poorly yet again and we have no shot on the boards against teams that have equal to or better height than we do. I dont even blame it on individual girls, it's a philosophy thats causing us to not even attempt Offensive rebounds most of the time and be completely out of position on the other end.

Yes, I can feel myself getting too emotional about this at the moment but I'm tired of seeing generational level of talent squandered by piss poor development and effort by staff. WTF are we doing?!?!

That should be a flagrant foul on USC for under cutting Cambridge. Then she's shaken and misses both freebies. That pisses me off that we've now had two brutal falls on the Offensive end and gotten 2 measly free throws out of it.

Girls are doing a great job on Watkins. Almost 3 quarters gone and she has zero field goals, all points off of free throws. Outstanding efforts there. They are playing hard as they always do no doubt.

Gotta echo Bestbuck on tOSU's play. Goal (I guess) was to limit JuJu's points, and that was accomplished until the game was out of reach. Our Buckeyes were woefully out-rebounded, by what 30? Their big was just that - big. Ajai apparently doesn't know how to front, and Elsa is too weak to hold her position. And Eboni gives away 6", but is a bull. Someone above said it, Cotie needs to be Cotie. And given that all (?) of USCs players were 6'+, yeah, tOSU was outsized. They threw over the press, and probably had 20+ points from that. On the plus size, our small guards were quick, and cut off the driving lanes, and generally stayed in front of the USC guards. Haven't seen the stat sheet, but am betting that USC had more blocks than tOSU had free throws. Hard Western road trip for our team. Although it does look like the B10 will be well represented at the Dance, if the three-balls don't drop, it might be a short-lived appearance for the Buckeyes.

I watched about half of this, turned it on late, and off early. 2nd chance points, well, lack-there-of, was the difference. Our ladies just couldn't afford to miss shots, and USC could. Get some offensive rebounds and make a few more shots (how many layups were missed?), and this is a different game late.
