Ohio State Women's Basketball (2023-24 B1G CHAMPS)

That a girl Elsa!! She's starting to make her presence felt now on both ends.

What I'm worried about for this team is if a great guard led team just eviscerates the press and we're living in half court for a whole game. They thrive so much on the energy. 2nd Quarter has gone our way though. 36-26 with a buzzer beater by Jaloni

I think I know why Chance Gray isn't getting more minutes on the year. As good a shot on the perimeter as she is, she makes a lot of bad bad decisions. As I'm typing this she finally hits another 3 but she's taken some head scratching shots against numbers and turned it over which has got us in this dog fight. Players make mistakes, nobody is perfect but if she could just limit those really bad ones she'll be out there when we need her scoring.

Washington fights thats for sure but they just lost their big for the last 4 minutes. Keep your focus ladies.

When was in C'bus in November, tickets for WBB were $10 (and sat in row behind scorer's table at mid-court), and could park next to arena, versus the men's tickets, $35 and had to park much closer to WHAC then arena. Men's game, very much faster and more physical, but (having a daughter), WBB seems to at least more fun to watch. Anyway, it appears that Chance has hit a cold streak with her 3's, and forces it more than she should. Joloni's sister is/has rebounded nicely from last year's injury, and is playing at (to me at least) a higher level than Chance. Can't make my mind up about Ajah (?), sometimes she's brilliant, and sometimes appears like she forgets where she's supposed to be. And don't remember who said it, but Elle is 'getting good' at this thing. Enjoy watching her grow in front of us. Sometimes she flops around, and other times she sticks her nose in there for the big rebound or big block. She's kinda taken Ebony's minutes, which is good for the future of tOSU's WBB team. Also appears that Cotie is 'downplaying' her role on the team, and letting the team be more 'guard-centric', but contributing around the fringes when needed, much as Taylor is doing. Makes for great theater, and winning while doing it.
