Thank you, yes. Some of the wise old vets were signing the praises of the old diamond pattern and I could not find an image of it. I did not think of video :)

They painted the unspeakable word on those hallowed grounds? For shame.

It looks like alternating scarlet and gray diamonds outlined in white.

Diamonds look better than I would have thought, but I'm still partial to a gray endzone with scarlet lettering (Buckeyes or Ohio State) and a scarlet endzone with gray lettering (Ohio State or Buckeyes). Just think it would look bad ass
