I'm on business travel this week and next.
I was supposed to be in LA this week, Seattle next week. But when I got to LAX today and logged in via a wireless hot-spot, I found out that I'll be BACK in L.A. next week (an opportunity bigger than the Seattle thing came up).
I will figure out the logistics later... After entering this post, I am going to go check-in. I will ride a red-eye through Cinci and hit C-bus around 9:30 tomorrow morning. You see, I agreed to this trip only if they would fly me to Columbus on the weekend between the business trips.
I might be able to check back in before the plane takes off, I might not. Either way, I'm ready for some football.
I'm ready for a day in The 'Shoe. A day in The 'Shoe is better than 100 days anywhere else.
I'm ready for Skull Session. JT has made it a lot more special than it used to be.
I'm ready to go from there to watch the stadium fill up and soak in the atmosphere.
I'm ready to watch the new way the Buckeyes take the field.
I'm ready to yell "O-H", or "I-O"
I'm ready to lose my voice, utterly
I'm ready to see MoWells be rewarded for being a true, loyal Buckeye.
I'm ready to see JL etch a few more letters onto the plaque underneath that block of granite (and whatever other trophies he wins).
I'm ready to see the first shut-out I will have witnessed in The 'Shoe in 24 years.
I'm ready to see the Buckeyes take one more step toward redemption.
I'm ready to sing Across the Field, The Star Spangled Banner, The Buckeye Battle Cry (x50), Hang On Sloopy, Brown Eyed Girl, and Carmen Ohio.
EDIT: I'm ready to Sing Carmen Ohio for SAB
I'm ready to say a prayer and thank my departed grandfather for introducing me to the incredible lifelong experience that is The Ohio State Buckeyes.
I'm ready, and whether you are or not...
It's time, Fredo.
