... Nothing's changed in 15 years.

Actually, something HAS changed. Keith's 'stache went grey and he has dyed it black. Other than that, you're right. Nothing has changed. Still plenty of Neil Diamond and Marvin Gaye on the jukebox. Horrible.

Ahhhh, solidarity among the Fredo schools. Somewhere Lech Walesa must have a tear in his eye. I know that I do.

MiamiHawkTalk.com :: View topic - Ohio this is your chance

It's all on your shoulders FredOU. The Fredo Nation turns its weary eyes to you longing for redemption...longing for validation...longing to scream out, "we're just as good...we're just as important...we matter just as much as our flagship campus."
Time's Up, Fredo.

I like the clown who called us a "money pit for appropiations that could better be spent in Oxford" because quite frankly the world is running short of glorified finishing schools for preppies.

Isn't that just like a silly, ignorant Fredoite to completely ignore the actual facts.

The fact is that their former president, as the first Chair of the Ohio Board of Regents, pushed through Jim Rhodes' revamping of the funding of Ohio's public universities. As a result, for the last 40+ years, Ohio State has been funded--on both undergraduate and graduate levels--by the same simple head count formula as every other public university.

Mercifully, that's about to change under Strickland and Fingerhut who are changing things back to the pre '62 system of properly funding Ohio State under a different model than The Other State Universities--i.e. as the system's flagship campus.

c'mon ORD, don't we already have a thread for you to pound all schools in Ohio not named Ohio State?

Seriously the way you search out these snipes at Ohio State and come down with a hammer makes me think you have an alternative motive. Like you really wanted to go to a 'fredo' university and they turned you down and you had to settle for Ohio State. I know that isn't true and you are going to counter otherwise but you act like a woman scorned or something and you are better than that.

Get back to the game at hand.

Ok, now it is official that Beanie is not playing who will get the most carries? Hmmm, I smell a V-Bet!

While everyone wants to believe that the Boom & Zoom and Mo Wells can get the job done, but they are not Beanie. You have to believe that their talent will carry them (along with the great offensive line). But they are still unproven and thus can be considered a weak point until proven otherwise. While I know everyone has confidence that they will step up.

What if that doesn't happen?

I know... the white elephant in the room. So since I am rooting for Ohio this weekend, I might as well be the one that brings it up... discuss!
