Official Cleveland Browns Draft Thread

However there isn't a Barry Sanders OR a John Elway in this draft (or a Carson Palmer or LDT either).....

I'm not sure how good AD will be, but I'd say he could be the caliber of LDT and/or Barry. He still had my pick. One OL won't change this line, and players like AD don't come along every day.

I worry about his injuries though....

But he could be the next 10,000 yard guy just the same....

If he's there I think the Browns take him. Franchise player to build around and all that.

One OL won't fix the Browns problem, but it would be a start in the right direction.....

what if:

Oakland Raiders - Jamarcus Russell
Detroit Lions - Adrian Peterson

Who do we take at #3? CJ, a position we dont have a major need at? Reach for Branch or Thomas? BQ would be the best way to go.
1. Unless "we" is Tampa Bay, "we" aren't taking anyone at #3.
2. Detroit is not drafting a RB. They just spent a high pick on Kevin Jones a couple of years ago.

Right now it's a coin flip for the 3rd spot, unless you were inquiring that the Browns would trade that 3rd pick away....

You would seriously take BQ over Thomas?
Have you ever watched the Browns play?
I respect that you think BQ will be a good NFL quarterback, but its very hard to take you seriously when you make a comment like that.

Browns, Bucs will flip for 3rd pick

Zac Jackson, Staff Writer
01.01.2007

The Browns and Tampa Bay will flip a coin to determine the owner of the third overall pick in the 2007 NFL Draft.

The Browns and Bucs had identical 4-12 records, and their opponents had identical winning percentages, leaving the coin flip as the remaining tiebreaker.

The coin flip is expected to take place at the NFL Scouting Combine in February.

Kevin Jones suffered a really bad injury to his foot and he wont be back next year. They had the worst rushing game in the NFL.

Look before you leap.

Also, coin toss for 3rd pick
