BQ would be the best way to go?
You would seriously take BQ over Thomas?
Have you ever watched the Browns play?
I respect that you think BQ will be a good NFL quarterback, but its very hard to take you seriously when you make a comment like that.

Again, we have six years and $36-37 million invested in Shafer. Please read the thread before you just make remarks that people have already said.

And they pointed out to you that Shaffer doesn't man both tackle spots. Perhaps you should take your own advice.

Having an OL = winning more than 4 games
Besides, with incredible rate at which we always sustain injuries, there is no such thing as too many quality OLmen for the Browns.

And BQ still sucks

This is the NFL. Contracts don't mean squat. When we signed him for six years, nobody thought he'd actually be there the entire duration. Drafting a LT first doesn't mean both would be on the Browns for the next few years. Shafer would most likely start to begin the season before giving way to the rookie. He'd then be cut next offseason.

Alright, I concede. I've seen the light. Brady Quinn is the kind of QB that makes everyone around him look better. We'd be an instant playoff team as soon as he gets adjusted to the NFL. But, even though Quinn would be a great QB for us and lead us to the playoffs in a year or two. Why we would draft him when we can draft Clausen with his 3 Heismans in 3 years? We've got to look at the future here people. :p

If you're worried about injuries why do you want Thomas?

Look up the reason he didn't declare after last year.
