Notre Dame (football only discussion)

I root for the weasels in ALL ooc games. I root for Big 10 teams in all ooc games. Years ago when a sweet 16 berth rested on the results of a game between UM and Xavier a Xavier grad I worked with came up to me saying, "Well, I bet you'll be pulling for Xavier tonight."

"No way," I told him. He couldn't believe it and I don't think he's ever fully forgiven or understood why.

The SEC has corrupted you cinci!

shit

I hope scUM loses so much they quit the fucking sport.

OK, fire away, tell me one way in which the demise of Michigan helps Ohio State other than the obvious, "well we end up with the better record."

Just one way.

Ain't asking for much, but putting the interests of Notre Dame ahead of Michigan is just plain wrong in my opinion, but I'm willing to listen.

I don't know what Michigan football has a tremendous effect on the state of tOSU football. The debacle that is the RR regime has not had any effect whatsoever on the state or status of tOSU football the last three years. Would this be the case perpetually? I don't know. However, I'm definitely not of the mind that we (Buckeyes) need a strong Michigan.

Note: I'm not diminishing the Game as I will always hold whooping their asses dear.

Have you really seen it is a liability the last three years?

Not yet. I think it will in the future though. There's a reason a 2 loss LSU makes it into a title game. Respect for the conference strength. That's where the Big Ten+2 needs to be. Bringing in Nebraska puts us right there imo...
