They were moving the ball quickly in the late 3rd quarter and 4th. Add to that Embuka’s fumble, killing a decent drive. I think Day took his foot off the pedal too soon.

Seriously, was he hurt, or something? 3 yards? His best rush was 2 yards. And we're talking about Heisman now? It looks like he did well in some games (586 rush yards against Purdue, Navy, Virginia, Army, and Indiana, 53 carries = 11 ypc), but 6 carries for 19 against Georgia, 11 for 46 against Penn State, and 4 for 3 against Ohio State (combined 21 carries for 68 yards = 3.2 ypc).
What am I missing about him?

He was hurt the games before but supposedly was full go our game and not wearing a brace. Which probably means he was like 80-90%

Just sayin': Knowles should have won it. He did better than Golden in the stats as well as in the head to head competition, etc. I guess it really doesn't matter since Ohio State beat Notre Dame for the really important trophy and besides both guys will be with another team in 2025.
