Mods feel free to delete... but the more and more this story doesn't make sense... the more and more this makes sense.

He's a D1 football player... playing for a name brand school. He could have his pick of co-eds in SB but he chooses to "date" a chick that doesn't exist on the internet instead. Has anyone considered that his internet fantasy is just a cover because he doesn't like women?

That certainly would explain a lot of things.

Outside of countless posts in this 48 page thread that speculated on him being gay, no, you are the first one to mention that or even think of it.

ESPN is back pedaling as fast as a top 10 corner on this one. Schapp states, "Oh, I believe him, he sounded sincere..." (paraphrasing)

Yeah, he sounded sincere last year when he was talking about this imaginary gal.

Too bad Te'o hasn't provided any EVIDENTS and Schaap apparently can't even do his job correctly.

He said he was told Kekua was in a car accident on April 28 and was in the hospital. He said he was told she was in a coma, from which she awoke in mid-May.



Schaap asked why Te'o didn't go to see Kekua in the hospital.


"It never really crossed my mind. I don't know. I was in school," he said.
