Somebody trying to capitalize on this while it's hot, and come noon tomorrow anyone who bought into it will be left waiting I'm assuming. Funny to think how crazy this could continue to spiral if there really was a Lennay somewhere. I can't imagine how this story could get any weirder though outside of the possible gay cover up or that Te'o was gullible enough to believe the story until December 26th.

According to the Shag, she's the sister of Tuisssopia or something close to that. He's a coach/GA and most likely Te'O's boyfriend. The sister showed up at the event with the Samoans to beard for Te'O.

Jack Swarbrick once again shows that he's a despicable, slimeball spin-machine.

Te'o didn't deserve most of those awards, and it's too bad that other players that deserved them won't get the historical recognition their play warranted. It's probably impossible to prosecute Te'o for fraud, but his perpetuation of the sympathetic myth of the dead girlfriend was a real factor in him getting votes and winning awards that should have gone to other players and other programs.

If only this story would help prevent Domers from winning awards they don't deserve in the future, but I don't really believe that.
