NCAA Football 2010 PS3 Super Conference

Team (OVR, OFF, DEF, SPT)
Whobe's Illinois team (C-, D+, C-, C)
Olaf's UCLA team (B-, B-, B-, A+)

I didn't see any results when I searched for Piney. So I have no idea what Oregon will look like.

Scratch that. I re-ordered the rosters and these are the ratings if the best OVR player at each position is the starter. It'll drop once you start putting your fastest player at each position in as the starter.

Team (OVR, OFF, DEF, SPT)
Whobe's Illinois team (B, A, B-, C)
Olaf's UCLA team (B, B+, B, A+)

Players that were created at different positions are practically useless. I cannot alter the teams in any way before loading them into the dynasty. You also may not be able to redshirt them and change their position in the offseason, as it appears that most of the out of position guys have already used their redshirts.

Do I just go into teambuilder, load the current USC team, alter colors and notify you to upload it to the league?

I'll do it, Trojans in Pink; hmmm interesting...

 no.

I want all of the real names for those players. Plus, I don't need the distraction of playing against players in pink unis.

Okay, but seriously, I want black uniforms. Have you played around with uploading a team yet. Can you make your own team with basically the only intent of being - new uni's?
Not if you want to have all the right names, and I do. We'll see what we can do when the new roster file comes out.

Really, unless we have 12 solid players, I don't think that being a 12 team conference would be the way to go. We never had a solid 12 players in either dynasty last year. Between work/school schedules and PS3s imploding, I don't know if we can expect a constant 12 this year either.
a 12 team conference would give us a championship game though, I kind of like that

plus a few more games to pad win totals against the CPU, since we likely wont have 12 human players, if we have an even number of players and equal amounts in each division there shouldnt be too much of a schedule unbalance

With as strong as the conference will be, the NCG will likely be the championship game. Unless we start getting into everyone having 2 or more losses. I've already simmed a season with a stacked Big East, and the NCG was a re-match between Texas and Florida (both moved to the Big East).

A 12 team conference gives us 4 players in each division. That means 3 out of 5 division games will be human opponents each year. The remaining 3 conference games could be as many as 3 and as few as 1 human opponent(s). So, basically, anywhere from 4-6 human opponents with the group we have now, and that's assuming (big assumption) that we don't have anyone being put on autopilot for a game here or there. I'm shooting for better balance than that.

If we're looking to pad win totals then we should go with the Big East so we can have 5 OOCs. The whole idea of this dynasty is for everyone to play each other, every year, on a semi-even playing field.

yea thats true, if we are going to stick with just 8 we should go with the Big East

Iron, when switching conferences around is there a way to change Bowl affiliations?

Cuz while the Big East makes the most sense, but if we can't switch bowl affiliations, the Big East Bowl games suck

FYI - I never created Oregon as I have decided not to use them. I am just debating between which team I want. Cuz all the obvious ones have been choosen. Just hard to decide between FSU, LSU & Alabama

Holy hell, you can purchase recruiting cheats through the EA store. Oh, and they can be used for online dynasties, too.
I'm just quoting Olaf's statement and not suggesting any individual will try this, but I'm going to start out pretty closed minded abuot buying cheats. So, um, don't do it.

Fuck me. I thought that I'd already replied to your question.

Basically, all you can do with conference changes is move teams around. The feature is pretty limited.

Fuk me? Fuk U!

While the bowls will suck, the Big East is probably the best option. Keeps us with a lean 8 guys so we should move fast. Plus it gives us 5 non-conference games. So besides playing the higher ranked teams in other conferences it allows us to play a rival team (or two) for recruiting purposes.

Also, I know it is still my pick. Leaving work a little early today to pick up the game. First thing I will do is figure out what team I want, so will have my pick sometime early tonight.

I'm not sure there's a big difference between the Holiday Bowl and the Gator Bowl to be honest. That's where the top non-BCS teams would go for the Pac-10 and Big East respectively. I'm starting to think that the Big East is the best way to go. It's a little elitist, but I'm ok with that. If someone else wants a bigger league, then they can make one, and I'm sure that we'd all join that one too.
