That's fair, but I think that as long as the Day, Marotti, Pantoni triumvirate is in place, the talent gap is going to be too great for them to deal with. Also, their success against us under peak Dantonio was largely based on us being willing to play in a box and having only a so-so throwing game. That's not going to be the case under Day, although of course the usual "it's Sparty week so here comes the shitty weather" problem could always rear its ugly head. Ultimately, when it comes to game day play calling, I think Fickell's fine but Day's elite and is only going to get better. The biggest threat from Fickell at MSU would be him assisting Day in getting Harbaugh canned sooner as there's always the chance that the blind chicken UM program could stumble onto a great replacement.

hey... silver lining... cincy has to hire a new coach this year... which means they should be there for at least 3 years... if fickell got a new gig next year... what are the odds that cincy came knocking for our new coordinator?

And then provided no FAX or EVIDENTS while creating a new thread in the wrong place when a thread already existed for Fickell. Pretty sure everyone is just busting your balls a little. However, if he is on your flying machine let us know immediately.
