My only question is where is the VBet thread for who the next coach will be? Especially now since we really have no idea who it will be.

Wholeheartedly agreed, but now obviously a moot point. I didn't expect much from the situation considering Schiano has grown some pretty significant roots in New Jersey. Among other things, Rutgers had apparently made special arrangements to sell him the land his new house rests on by giving up and brokering a piece of a local nature reserve. He can walk to the stadium from his new pad. I'm also not surprised by him staying put based on the other job offers he's turned down.Anyway, I don't pretend to understand Michigan fans' fascination with Miles, but personally I'd say Schiano is a MUCH better choice for UM head coach.

On Thursday, December 6, 2007, ESPN reported that he has had a lengthy conversation with University of Michigan Athletic Director Bill Martin, about the current Head Coaching vacancy at the school. It is expected that Michigan will offer him the job soon.

Crying? Nah, I want a man. Maybe one who's 40!!!!NJ-Buckeye;1021723; said:Schiano was offered and accepted the job yesterday
He thought about it over night and decided he couldn't do it to his players
He turned down the job this morning
He called his entire team in this morning and revealed everything to them
He started crying and left
IF JT ever retires.. GREG SCHIANO is the man I want at tOSU
He has ethics and integrity...
