Start by handing out pink slips and the donors will come back.

Your school will have to hand out the pink slips, it may take a long time but I suspect that when the Rodriguez "era" at TSUN comes to an end it will stink to high heaven.
As for the peeling off of donors - I give them only a partial pass, like I said before, you either support your school, or you don't. Clearly they really don't - they were all about the cult of Rod's personality.

Meyer didn't recruit the team that won last year. Predominantly, they were players recruited by Zook. Furthermore, the UF defense is what made the biggest impact in last year's NC (IMO). Defenses have yet to be RR's strong suit.

Good point.
However I think they should do just fine these next couple of years.. They should be ranked in the top 3 or 4 pre-season and will probably back it up with another BCS bowl, if not another national championship appearance.

Well... if you think about it... this 3-3-5 that RR wants to run may make sense at Michigan, I mean, their DB's run like DL's... that might offset.... umm... something.

Michigan is a great job too, of course. It's not quite the job that Michigan or its fans think it is -- the best job in the Big Ten is and forever will be the one at Ohio State -- but it's among the top 10 or 15 jobs in college football.
