I have been listening to the last couple of Disturbed albums here recently, but thats about it for "new" metal


I doubt you are suffering :tongue2:

I dont know why you cant understand slipknot, I can understand them just fine. Listen to Vendetta off the new one, and it sounds like old Metallica, which makes it awesome.

I've never been a fan of Slipknot but I downloaded their new CD and gave it a listen... Psychosocial, Dead Memories, Vendetta, Snuff, Til We Die, Vermilion Pt. 2... all good songs. I think its safe to say I was the only parent listening to them as I was picking up my kids from school today...

I wish the new one was a little heavier, but I like it better than 10,000 fists (which kicked ass too)

Tool is cool. I dont know much of their stuff, but what I have heard I have liked
