What a kick ass day at work!
I added all the songs from the cd my friend bought for me at Target and it has been playing on my Ipod all day. Death Magetic is rocking, which at first the unforgiven III didn't set with me well until I listened to it about 10 times and it's a classic. Hetfield and the lyrics are kick ass, Lars is unreal on the drums, Kirk on the axe is mind blowing and Rob on the bass is the second coming of well we know his name (RIP Cliff).

This album blows Load, Reload and Stanger the hell out the water. By far Not a Master of Puppets but when will you ever get that again. Shit let's ask Bmax when Slipcock will put out a MOP:lol:

A big THANKS!!!!

Wow . . . just off the plane after an amazing visit to some of our favorite places in Europe. Celebrating the release of "Death Magnetic" with all of you guys in Copenhagen, Berlin, and London was the ultimate way to close out an over the top summer! And just when we think it can?t get any better, we hear that the new record is number one in just about every country on the planet . . .what can we say other than "THANK YOU!!" Thank you for all your support, patience, ongoing feedback, traveling far and wide to shows, and in general for sticking with us through this wild and crazy ride.

Now the next level of nuttiness begins . . . see you out on the road for the rest of this year and all of the next!

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Nominees Announced

We're honored to be among the nine nominees being considered for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame . . . has it really been 25 years since our first record came out? Yeah, that's the criteria to be nominated and we're keeping company this year with Jeff Beck, Chic, Wanda Jackson, Little Anthony and the Imperials, Run D.M.C., the Stooges, War, and Bobby Womack.
Of course we don't know yet if we're really in . . . the official inductees for this year are not announced until January 2009. So as we always say, keep watching here for more info. The big ceremony will be held April 4, 2009 in Cleveland.

Ok everybody sit down for this. I like the new album. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. The guitar really does remind me of something in between puppets and justice. Not overwhelmed by the vocals/lyrics, but the guitar is excellent. I missed hearing guitar solos, but more so I just missed hearing regular ol' guitar riffs that actually take skill to play and send chills down my spine. I knew they still had it in em, with the right leadership and if they could stop whining and bitching at each other.

There ya go CCI, I said it...... :biggrin:

Oh, and Michigan still sucks.
